Approach__
Strike Oil being founded on the principle of freedom of artistic expression from Nats Getty, & the bases of gender neutrality & the LGBTQ community, I derived from that to really speak to what the brand stands for when in the development of the collections, the styling in the lookbook shoot, merchandising the collections & more. Always making sure that Nats authenticity is showcased in all the products & collections as I worked on them.
Overview__
We worked on other different types of materials, but the one that challenged my skills the most was the Art Prints collection. Nats Getty drew these prints by hand, I was honored to edit it to a full repeating pattern using Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator to be able to print on silk, fleece cotton, & t-shirt cotton. This job also enhanced my ability to work with different dye treatments creating very luxury & neutral tie-dyes on reversed fleece & cotton jersey. Custom hand painted leather jackets by Nats with interior art printed fabric. Embroidered accessories & elastic trims.
