Approach__
Ananda Farm, located on Terra Ceia Island, FL, was inspired by the dream of the majority owner's wife, Kristy, who sadly passed away from cancer before it came to life. In her honor, the farm serves as a heartfelt tribute to her legacy and the lives she touched. With retro, playful branding, we aimed to reflect her joyful spirit, designing every detail to celebrate her memory and the love & family she left behind.
Overview__
The design of Ananda Farm was crafted not only in her memory but also as a tribute to Terra Ceia Island’s beloved pelican, symbolizing freedom and community. Drawing from heartfelt quotes and cherished memories shared by her family and friends, we shaped every aspect of the farm—from the rides and attractions to the food and bar offerings—to reflect the joy and warmth she brought to those around her. Each element was thoughtfully inspired by the moments she created with her loved ones, making the farm a place where her husband and children can come to feel closer to her. Our approach was to educate visitors in a fun, unconventional way while capturing her retro, playful spirit. The cohesive, vintage-inspired design that honors both her legacy and the island’s charm came to life when I joined the project, helping to realize her vision and create a space that brings her family comfort and keeps her vibrant spirit alive.
